According to ChainCatcher, citing a report from Cointelegraph, Pradeep Bhandari, the national spokesperson for India’s ruling party, has called on the country to consider launching a pilot program for Bitcoin reserves, describing it as a strategic move toward economic resilience. The spokesperson stated that India, with its growing renewable energy infrastructure, is well-positioned to develop a sovereign Bitcoin strategy, emphasizing that “this is not a reckless shift, but a carefully considered step toward embracing the legitimacy of digital assets.”

According to Jinse Finance, U.S. stocks opened higher, with the Dow Jones up 0.24%, the S&P 500 up 0.37%, and the Nasdaq up 0.45%. Chip stocks strengthened, with Nvidia (NVDA.O) rising 1.07% and Micron Technology (MU.O) up 0.7%, as its quarterly earnings outlook exceeded expectations. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index edged down slightly.
