Xpayra CTO: Core System Ready, Cross-Border Payment Application Enters Pilot Testing
Odaily Planet Daily reports that the crypto payment and financial infrastructure project Xpayra recently announced the completion of the first phase of its core system based on the PayFi architecture. This includes the transaction settlement engine, smart minting module, and compliance governance templates, and the platform has now entered the multi-chain high-concurrency performance testing stage.
According to Xpayra CTO Kevin Patel, the current system has implemented on-chain wallet and identity participation mechanisms, allowing users to make payments and receive funds without the need for a bank account, with T+0 real-time settlement. In terms of cross-border remittance fees, the platform has reduced costs to only on-chain gas fees and matching fees, which are lower than the typical 3%–5% intermediary costs in traditional financial systems. The system supports multiple mainstream stablecoins, features automatic conversion and compliance capabilities, and all transaction records are traceable on-chain, enhancing data transparency and information symmetry.
In terms of application scenarios, Xpayra has already begun deployment for both enterprise and individual users. The platform provides lightweight settlement capabilities for small and medium-sized cross-border e-commerce businesses, helping to reduce exchange risks and improve capital repatriation efficiency. For individual users, the system enables remote payroll distribution and freelance income settlement, with funds credited within seconds via on-chain processes, lowering the barriers to use and reducing reliance on intermediaries. Meanwhile, the team is also expanding its offline merchant network to promote the practical application of digital assets in everyday retail scenarios.
