Microsoft: AI Saved the Company Over $500 Million Last Year
According to a report by Jinse Finance, sources revealed that Microsoft Chief Commercial Officer Judson Althoff stated in a speech this week that AI tools can boost productivity across various fields, from sales and customer service to software engineering. The source noted that, even so, AI saved Microsoft over $500 million last year in call center operations alone, while also improving both employee and customer satisfaction. Althoff said the company has also begun using artificial intelligence to handle interactions with smaller clients. He mentioned that although this initiative is still in its early stages, it has already generated tens of millions of dollars in revenue.
