U.S. Commerce Secretary: Expected to Issue 15 to 20 Trade Letters in the Next Two Days
According to a report by Jinse Finance, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo stated that many countries have proposed to open their markets. She expects to issue 15 to 20 trade letters in the next two days. The copper tariffs will be implemented in late July or on August 1. Trump plans to impose a 50% tariff on copper with the aim of bringing copper production back to the United States.
